Sandi Burnside, AKA Poo,  is the owner of Sandmar.  After apprenticing a few years in woodworking shops, she started  by building for the sellers up on Miramar Road.   Frustrated by the limited design requests and constant demand for cheaply built beds that they then turned around and sold for three times the amount they purchased it for, she went out on her own and started selling directly to the public in 2008.  Sandi is a master woodworker with many years of experience in design, building and finishing.

Jenn Budd, AKA Frau, joined Sandmar in 2001 and apprenticed under Sandi and studied finishing under Milan of Milan's Synthesized Furniture.  She, like Sandi, is well versed in all types of cabinetry including European and traditional face framing.  She is also a master woodworker like Sandi.  She is most known for her designs and finishing skills which are highly sought after.

Newest to our clan is Karen, AKA Ragu.  Karen has a background in design, art and business.  She is currently running the front office and showroom while she learns woodworking from both Sandi and Jenn.
